What Week Are We In...? {Weeks 15 & 16}

Where to even begin? Ready or not ...

Nick decided, once all our {solid wood keep in mind.... so they are heavy!} doors were hung that he was going to take them all off and use the sprayer to paint them in the basement. This was his set up!

Finished slate in the mudroom!

& in the kitchen!

Before the appliances were delivered.

Built in nightlights in the stairway.

Granite in the boys bathroom.

Boy's bathroom.

Washer and dryer! I wanted to do something fun and funky in the laundry room!

Master bath granite. Our walls are actually a cream color. My phone makes them look yellow. They are not yellow.

I love this granite. The pictures don't really do it justice.

Chandelier above the stairway.
Happy boy just waking up from nap as I worked around the house ...

Our appliances came!

Under cabinet lighting. I love this!

Again. Because I just love this face!

Office color. {Again} hard to capture true color!

Hardwood floors in!

Banister up!

Doors all painted and hung back up!

Entry way slate completed.

I love our hardwood.

Down the hallway.

Appliances in! Yay!

From the staircase.
Railing installed!

Meet Mike. Mike is the foreman from Nick's company who has been building our house. He is a fabulous guy and a very talented builder. I {we} just adore  him. He was less then thrilled with me for taking his picture. But I had to for our blog documenting, right?!

Lighting in the ceiling was installed!

Porter sweeping the floors :) I can barely get a picture of him these days because he moves so fast!

We got carpet, too!

Fireplace started coming along, too.

A rainbow as I was out picking up some stuff for the house {don't worry, I was at a stop light when I took this picture!}.

We started moving everything out of our storage unit and into our basement. This wasn't even half of it... but we finished!

First naps in the new house :)

SO excited about our fireplace!

Thermostat!

Kitchen chandelier.

Another stairway shot.

Stairway nightlights with shades on them now. The carpet on the stairs will not be installed until we get the furniture all moved upstairs.
Our pumpkins! Porter picked them all out this year... ha ha.

More posts wrapped!

Sam on his new dog bed. He loved it!

New shower curtain & rug in the master bath. I love it! It ties in perfect with our bedroom color as well!

PHEW! What a crazy ride these last few weeks have been... and it's not even close to being over! Tomorrow is Halloween {and also Nick's birthday!} and I can't wait to celebrate him and dress up our sweet boys {a shark & a monkey}.

We have so much unpacking and organizing to do. I am really excited to use this time to purge and get read of everything we don't need. I plan on taking my time and doing it slowly.

This week our farm sink will finally be installed {had to be custom built so it took some extra time}. Then hopefully the granite in the kitchen will follow shortly. Those are the last two BIG things we are waiting for on the inside of the house.

We are extremely busy right now, but feeling extremely blessed and VERY excited. We can't wait to be living there full time... soon!

I'll be back with some more pictures soon. I figured 50 was a good start tonight!

Week Fourteen ...

Our sidewalk was poured!

Porch ceiling was put up! We have can lights and speakers that run all along the porch ceiling.

The beams will all be wrapped, this one isn't done yet.

This is what they will look like.

More siding was done.... very close to this being done.

Sneak Peak of the slate that will be in our kitchen, mudroom and hallway. I love it.

Toilets were installed! I love them.... as silly as that is, it's true! {baseboard still needs to be installed}

I love the handles.

Other plumbing was installed, too!

And more light fixtures. We also trimmed out the windows in the master and started the baseboard in the master, too. This is a pretty good picture of the color in our room. I love it.

Baseboard shot.

Some more happenings this past week ...

The whole upstairs is all painted {my husband rocks}!
The slate started getting laid on Saturday a.m.
The main level started getting painted

We are getting SO close and can't wait to finally be in our house! I'll be back soon!
