Week Thirteen {Rest of the Week...}

On Wednesday I walked into the kitchen and saw this! Yay!! Love the cabinets!

Little desk area off of the mudroom, before the kitchen. There will also be shelves above the cupboard.

More light fixtures went up. The color is hard to see here, but it's a rustic brown.

Cement walkways were poured.

Our propane tank was dropped off!

As we were leaving I took this from the window in the car. It's totally blurry but I still thought it was a cool shot. We have electricity!

Week Thirteen {Day One ... }

Look at this... I am actually posting during the work week! We are currently putting ourselves through self induced sleep deprivation as we watch our beloved Tigers battle it out in game three against the Yankees {it's currently 11:00 p.m. and we get up at 5:00 a.m. ... GO TIGERS!}. So I thought I would take advantage of the awake time and post some pictures I snapped today. 

The next few weeks are all BIG weeks at our house. Today was one of the first big, exciting, things: Our kitchen installment started!

Here are a few pictures of our slate, which will go in the kitchen and mudroom. The tile guys were laying out all the pieces to choose which ones they were going to use. They also put sealer on it.

While I was there the electrician was starting to install some of the lights. here are the can lights in the kitchen.
