Week Eight {Days One thru Five} ...

Life is crazy busy right now in our little household! Things are moving fast with the house and Nick is busy working full time and then working on the house at night and on the weekends {and being full time dad when he is home!}. The boys are growing and changing every day and I have been busy soaking them up and preparing to start another great school year teaching my first and second graders {School starts Tuesday! These last five months flew by!}.

This past week we had our electric and plumbing inspections and passed them both! They also got all the windows in, the basement glass doors installed, the entire porch framed {the floor still needs to be laid and the shingles put on} and the concrete in our garage poured! Nick also air sealed the entire house and as I write this he is there putting in our insulation with my father in law {I love having a handy husband who knows how to do all of this stuff!}.

I know in the pictures lately the house hasn't really seemed to change that much. It's hard to really capture everything that has been happening the last few weeks {electric, plumbing, air sealing, insulation and so on} in pictures. But, this coming week it will be changing a lot because... the dry wall is being installed! I am so, so excited for this!

Here are a few pictures from this past week ...

The porch!

Cement poured in the garage!

All the windows in!

Side shot of porch and house.

Basement walk-out doors.

Hurray for windows!
