Week Ten {Days One Thru Five} ...

I am seriously slacking on pictures of the house this week. Actually, my blog title is a big fat lie considering I haven't been to the house since Wednesday and so my pictures are only through day Three and completely outdated now! Our work week is just crazy and after working all day, picking up the babies and heading back into town I barley make it home with enough energy to make dinner! So, frequent trips to the house have taken a back seat for the time being. Good thing we will be LIVING there soon {but we have so much work ahead of us before that happens!}. Also, the drywall mudding/finishing is the longest process of house building {takes two weeks} so there hasn't been a whole lot of picture progress to document.

Drywall is set to be done this coming Friday. I can't wait to see the finished project! I have a meeting with the interior paint consultant at 4:00 on Friday to finalize our interior paint colors. I am really excited for this! I have our main color picked out {found it and fell in love with it on the Parade of Homes this year} and so we will base the other colors around that.

I will be out to the house this weekend {GORGEOUS weekend here!} and will snap some more pictures. I will update tomorrow {Sunday} but for now here are a few that I shot on Wednesday!

Our siding color is so hard to capture in a picture {and a I-Phone picture at that...} but you kind of get the idea? More siding has been put on since this picture was taken!

We are having rounded edges on our walls. I am excited for this! I have seen it a few new homes lately and I love the way it looks.

Sorry for the weak update! I will be back tomorrow with more. Now it's time to enjoy this beautiful weather while we still have it!

  1. It looks more and more like the real deal :) I LOVE the rounded edges . . . didn't even know that was a trend right now. Great for little ones!

  2. Oh and . . . right now we don't use anything special on the apple tree, but when it gets bigger we might have to use a spray or something. I know there are safe insect soaps you can spray, but we just looked them over and threw out any that were mis-shapen or had nibbles out of them :)
